Last American Man

I believe that an American Man is independent, physically strong, macho, someone who creates their own paths, competitive, a leader, self-sufficient and someone who works hard to achieve their goals. An American Man is also inquisitive, intelligent, inventive and restless. In my opinion, I think that Eustace is not the Last American man because he gets upset when that people are not living the way he is living. Eustace was independent, macho ans someone who created their own paths, competitive, a leader and self-sufficient and someone who works hard to achieve their goals, but I believe that the way Eustace treated people makes me want to belive that he his not the last American man. Eustace treats people as if he is better than everyone. Even though Eustace is very smart and knows a lot about nature, doesn't give him the right to treat people poorly. I believe that Eustace tried to be an American Man, but he took it to a level where I don't see him as the ideal American man. I think that the idea of having an American Man is a good thing because in the older ages we valved someone who was a leader and someone who could take control and get the job done.
