Turtle Island

What does actually starting Turtle Island do to Eustace? What does it allow him to do?

Eustace starts Turtle Island because he wants to get away from the society and live on his own. He wants to use nature for him, rather than all the unneeded necessities he thinks people lean on. Eustace starts Turtle Island with the help of his father. Eustace has an all boys camp at Turtle Island. I think that he starts this camp so that he can teach other children about how he lives. Becuase Eustace has Turtle Island it allows him to show other people the way that he wants others to live. Turtle Island is like Eustace's utopia, perfect, beautiful and exactly what he wants. Overall starting Turtle Island really starts Eustace future and makes him really want people to be interesting in living outside the box and start living in the circle.
