Why does Eustace want to ride his horse across the country? What is one significant thing that happens to him on the trip?
Eustace rides his horse across the country with his brother and his brothers friend. Eustace wants to ride across the country to prove to other people, or to brake a record for riding across the country the best or the quickest. His brother and his friend just wanted to enjoy the trip and observe the country for what it is. One significant thing that happens to Eustace on the trip is that he has an experience with a mule named Peter Rabbit. Peter Rabbit is a very brutal mule and fought Eustace. Eustace gets so upset that he starts to bite the mule and beat it up. This shows that Eustace always wants to have authority over everything. Eustace never gave up and kept fighting.
