School on Wheels

In our Literature class we were told to research an orgnaization that provided assistance in some way to others. I chose to find out more about the organization, School on Wheels. School on Wheels is an organization that provides assistance to homeless children in the United States. It all started with a women named Anges who read a book on poverty and homeless people in America. She was a retired teacher and decided to start a program with one-on- one tutoring to help these children succeed in school. This is an important organization because I belive that every one deserves the right to a good education. In America, it is important to have a good education to later succed in life. School on Wheels was started in California and later started in Indiana and Massachusetts. School on Wheels tutoring, I belive, will later reduce the amount of homeless people in America by provding them a well served education.
