I really enjoyed yesterdays class because it was some what of a life lesson. We discussed dreams and goals and their difference. If people focus too much on one specific thing, it ends up never becoming true or happening. In our class people were talking about how the characters in The Great Gastby dreams have failed them. I thought that this was interesting because you shouldn't be so focused on one thing that it becomes you, rather than just a goal to work towards. I really enjoyed this in class discussion and loved to hear other peoples opinions.

I agree with you about how yesterday's class was like a life lesson. If you focus on one thing and that thing only, when you get to it, it is not what you had anticipated for so long. I liked how you said that if you focus on one thing, it starts to become you and you loose sight of what is real in your life.
I agree with you about focusing so much on one thing that it becomes you. Also, when you want something so badly with all you have and you get it, it's not as great as you thought it was going to be and you get let down. You are right, it is a good life lesson. You also argued your point well in class. yay.
