climax of the novel

The climax of The Great Gatsby begins on the edge the Valley of Ashes when Nick, Tom and Jordan find out that Myrtle has been hit by a car and died. When they get back to Tom's house Nick discovers that Daisy was driving a car that hit Myrtle but Gatsby says he is going to take the blame. All along bad things have happened in front of the billboard with the eyes of Dr. T.J. Eckleburg. The eyes of the billboard made it seem as if God was watching, or someone was watching and waiting for something horrible to happen.

Good ideas here, but you don't really push the idea of foreshadowing. 1
